Open call launched: remote monitoring after heart failure
ZOL, Jessa and AZ Maria Middelares launch a thematic call for remote monitoring of heart-failure patients after discharge, linked to a VLAIO TETRA study. Deadline 31 October.
Today Conexco opens its first thematic call of 2026. Three hospitals with large heart-failure clinics, ZOL, Jessa and AZ Maria Middelares, are looking for solutions that keep patients safely at home in the 90 days after discharge, when readmission risk is highest.
The call targets continuous or near-continuous monitoring combined with an explainable alarm logic, at TRL 6 or higher and with a clear MDR route. Home-nursing organisations Wit-Gele Kruis Limburg and i-mens support the home logistics in the study regions. Selected solutions will be validated in a multicentre study in 2027, linked to a VLAIO TETRA application prepared by ZOL and UHasselt.
Companies submit through the regular intake form, pre-tagged with the call. Every submission gets a pitch slot on a Friday afternoon in November, and the organising hospitals give consolidated feedback by 15 December 2026.
